The Moose Jaw Downtown & Soccer/FieldHouse Facilities Inc. (DFFH) Board of Directors announced today that Doug Campbell accepted the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer for Mosaic Place and YaraCentre, effective immediately. Campbell has been with the company since March of 2011 as the Director of Business Development for both Mosaic Place and YaraCentre and brings over 17 years of knowledge and experience to his new position at DFFH.
Strongly involved in the community, Campbell is also the President of the Tourism Moose Jaw Board, a member of the Economic Development Commission as well as a Director on the Visit Moose Jaw/Destination Marketing Board of Directors. Campbell played an integral role in Mosaic Place’s 2012 Saskatchewan Tourism Business of the Year Honor, 2015 Venues Today #1 Top Spot in Western Canada accolade. He was also nominated for the 2013 Venues Today Generation Next Award, recognizing North Americas Top 35 Venue Executives under the age of 35.
DFFH Board Chair, Kurt Saladana commented, “We are very pleased to have Doug take on this role of interim Chief Executive Officer and we are confident he will continue to do an outstanding job for us as we await the disclosure on the MNP report from the City of Moose Jaw.”
Following the release of the Meyer Norris Penny Report due later this month, the DFFH Board will look to make permanent decisions within the organization.
The Meat Loaf concert originally scheduled for June 11th at Mosaic Place has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 2nd at 7:30pm.
Please bring your original ticket from the June date to the rescheduled performance on July 2nd as it will still be valid for entrance to the show. For those patrons with tickets at will call, the box office hours on show day will be 11am to 8pm.

During the PBR Moose Jaw 2016 competitions, Alpha Bull Inc. President, Chad Besplug, announced they are planning a return visit to Moose Jaw in 2017. Besplug commented, “The response we received from the community leading up to the event, combined with the energy of the crowd from night one, makes us want to turn this into an annual event in Moose Jaw. We want Moose Jaw to have one of the best PBR events in the country!”
The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Canadian Tour will return to Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan for two action-packed nights full of big rides and rank wrecks June 2nd and 3rd, 2017, each night at 7:00pm.
