SUMMARY:
Utilizing initiative and independent judgment, the Director of Operations works closely with the General Manager/AGM in planning, budgeting, directing and managing operations of the facilities. In addition, the Director of Operations manages, supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the facilities, including engineering, maintenance, technology support systems, set-up/changeovers, custodial/housekeeping and grounds keeping. Provides overall administrative planning, direction, and policies to operating managers and supervisors, assuring the highest quality service program. The Director of Operations directs an effective and cost-efficient department by controlling the Operations Department operating budgets and provides highly responsible staff assistance to the General Manager/AGM.

Spectra Venue Management is the operator of Mosaic Place (www.mosaicplace.ca) and we require an energetic, highly motivated and detailed orientated, customer-focused team player to become the Box Office Supervisor. This position is full time, hourly position, and a comprehensive benefit plan.
The Box Office Supervisor will plan, organize, and coordinate the box office efforts for multiple public assembly facilities including but not limited to: Mosaic Place, Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre, Great Western Lounge. You will provide leadership to the box office tam and will plan, direct, and evaluate box office personnel. You will build all events in the ticketing system, including seating manifests, price tables, holds/kills, discounts, pre-sales and set up various ticket promotions as required for Mosaic Place events, the WHL Warriors and the AAA Warriors.
As part of a team of professionals, you will consistently deliver exceptional customer service to all clients while processing their transactions in an efficient, accurate and friendly manner. You will ensure compliance and adherence to box office, financial policies and procedures and take a leadership role in the department and the venue. Your experience working with computers, supervising people, having strong organizational and multi-tasking skills will ensure your success. The ability to work evenings and weekends for events is essential. You demonstrate a high energy approach and excel in a fast-paced work environment and can adapt quickly to change. You have a thirst for learning and a passion to deliver an exceptional customer service experience. Your experience working with social media and direct email programs to raise awareness and promote events is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a customer service-related position as well as demonstrated leadership skills and have knowledge and experience with using a ticketing system such as Paciolan (www.paciolan.com).
